This is a documentary featuring the phenomenon of paid sex in virtual reality. Experts from a variety of fields i.a.: sexologist, anthropologist, priest as well as a real prostitute seek to come to grips with this new aspect of prostitution. The starting point for the commentaries and reflexions is a machinima “Prostitutes” documenting this phenomenon in the virtual world of Second Life. This footage, despite a precise display of the mechanics of virtual sexual intercourse, exposes the possibilities for experimenting with the “carnality” of avatars. Sex and the relationships with prostitutes shown, differ considerably from the convention of Second Life.

Interlocutors as well as viewers are confronted with scenes which compel an examination of the purpose of virtual worlds, the definition of prostitution and limits of sex.

To dokument opowiadający o zjawisku płatnego seksu w wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Autorytety z różnych dziedzin m.in.: seksuolog, socjolog, antropolog, ksiądz a także realna prostytutka, starają się zmierzyć z tym zupełnie innym przejawem prostytucji. Materiałem wyjściowym dla tych komentarzy i refleksji jest machinima „Prostytutki” dokumentująca zjawisko w wirtualnym świecie Second Life. Ten materiał oprócz dokładnego ujawnienia specyfiki wirtualnych zbliżeń seksualnych, pokazuje możliwości eksperymentowania z „cielesnością” awatarów. Pokazany seks i relacje z prostytutkami daleko odbiegają od konwencji Second Life.

Rozmówcy, a także widzowie zostają skonfrontowani ze scenami, które każą pytać o istotę wirtualnych światów, definicję prostytucji, granice seksu.
